The spring (#1001) fit perfectly in my Paul Mitchell Pro tools 1" curling iron. There wasn't anything to installing it. Very easy! Thanks so much for making a great product.

Laura P.

December 27, 2014

No problems installing, have done so on a Vidal Sassoon model. The only thing missing are the plastic washers between the handle and the barrel of the iron where the screw is inserted.

Conair Infinity Pro. Model#: CD412BPPXGW - 1-1/2" barrel - Spring # 1005

Thank you,

P. M.

December 23, 2014

The curling iron brand is Power IQ, size 1”. I don’t have the model number but I ordered spring #1001. Used the list on the website to purchase the springs.

It was so easy to replace. Probably took my husband 5 minutes. I’ve replaced this particular size curling iron at least 2 times in the last 8 years and wish I had known about your website a long time ago.

Thanks so much!

Stephanie W.

December 22, 2014

Conair 1" curling iron
Spring (#1005) works well. Installation is easy although requires a third hand to hold lever in place to allow for the screws to be inserted & tightened. Thanks fo4 having the spring available.

December 13, 2014

I have a Hot Tools curling iron model 1102. It was pretty easy to replace the spring (#1006) - but this is not my first spring. Spring came super fast!

Thanks!

Caroline M.

December 11, 2014

Hot Shot Tools
Model Number S510320
Spring 1006

It fit perfectly! What went out on my spring was the little roller, so my iron wouldn't close. Now it works smoothly. I bought 2 springs so I have one in case it happens. My order shipped fast, too!

Thanks,

Kathy F.

December 10, 2014

Just installed the new spring in the old curling iron and it is perfect. I did require a second set of hands to hold the clamp on the wand in place, but is was less than a 5 minute process. My curling iron is a Rusk REC150S and it requires a 1" spring number 1001.

December 8, 2014

The springs we ordered were #1002. We have 2 Helen of Troy model #1009 and 1Hot Tools model #1102. The springs were very easy to change. My daughter is a hairdresser and she was very happy she didn't have to replace these irons.

Thank you,

Kathy T.

December 7, 2014

I received my replacement springs today in the mail. My curling iron is a Farouk CHI 1 ½ inch ceramic spring grip curling iron (GF1558). Your item #1002 looked exactly like the broken spring. It took me about 5 minutes to replace the spring with the new one. It fit perfectly. I’m so happy I didn’t have to go buy a replacement curling iron.

Thank You!!

Michelle R.

December 5, 2014

My wife has a Helen of Troy Professional Model# 1008 and spring (#1002) I bought worked great and my wife could not be happier that she does not need to buy a whole new curling iron.

Thanks,

Luke O.

December 5, 2014

Helen of Troy model #1004, problem easily fixed, wife has four of these curling irons.....are you guys ever going to fix this reaccuring problem? And why are you making your customers pay for your defective springs.

(Customer bought springs # 1006. The springs experience metal fatigue due to the constant bending and flexing of the metal which causes it to break over time.)

Richard K.

December 2, 2014

Yes, I would be more than happy to help you out after I install the springs.
I'm so glad I stumbled upon your website. I was doing a Google image search for my old Chi curling iron (looking for a replacement) and saw an image for your website. I hadn't even considered changing out the broken spring as an option. I'm so happy I will be able to continue using my favorite curling iron.

Thanks,

Michelle R.

December 1, 2014

I used the spring (#1002) on my Hot Tools model 1110. My husband installed it in just a couple minutes.

Thanks.

November 30, 2014

This is the 3rd curling iron! I couldn’t find any springs, so I kept buying the same iron. I wasn’t going to buy any more of Hot Tools 1110.
I am so glad that I found the springs (#1007) !!!

Thank You!

Brenda P.

Hi. Thanks for the spring (#1005) ! The curling iron is a conair model CD87J.

David G.

November 25, 2014

This spring worked great! It's great to know that there is a company out there to supply these replacement springs. They are usually the first thing to go out. The spring (#1006) I ordered was used on a Helen of Troy Model # 1006. Thanks!

Pete J.

November 25, 2014

Sharon S. 😃

November 21, 2014

HOORAY !!! the spring (#1005) you sent works perfectly and my curling iron is good to go ! I would send you a photo but you already have my curling iron listed with a photo and the spring number. Its a Salon Creations by Belson and the product model number # C24-1-10. I am very pleased and will spread the word. Thanks so much.

Happy Thanksgiving !

Paula M.

November 11, 2014

I have just finished replacing the spring in my iron and it seems to fit pretty well + looks similar to the broken spring. It seems slightly wide and I had to push it together to fit into the metal holder on the iron, but it worked and the tension is really good.

1. My curling iron is the red Babyliss Pro TT Tourmaline iron (BTM5100SC) and I used the spring size 1005 as recommended on the site.

2. I was so happy to find your website and save myself a good chunk of money by replacing my curling iron spring rather than the whole iron. I was able to install the spring by myself with a standard tool kit in under 10 minutes. Plus, it shipped so quickly and arrived in perfect condition. Thank you!

3. I will!

Best,

Lianna P

November 10, 2014

1. Hot Tools Model 1111 (Spring # 1006)
2. Easy to install - there are YouTube videos if you don't know how.
3. Years ago I threw away my curling iron because I thought it had "worn" out. Now I know that you can just buy new springs and it's as good as new!

Pamela B.

November 10, 2014

My curling iron is a Revlon model number RVIR1018.
I ordered the 1 1/4" spring #1007. It took a little help from someone else to get it the spring in but was very easy to do. I will say that a 1" spring will also fit this curling iron. I was very pleased to see that all I had to do was replace the spring. It was way cheaper than replacing the whole thing and this is my favorite curling iron.
I will definitely continue to get my springs from you and will pass the word along.

Have a good day!

Melissa B.

November 8, 2014

Hi there, I ordered replacement spring #1006 for my Hot Tools curling iron model #1102 and it works perfectly. Simple to replace and I couldn't believe how fast I received it in the mail. I will for sure order from this site again. Thank you!

I will definitely use your company in the future!

Sincerely,

Jodi D.

November 4, 2014

Hi, I received my springs (#1005) and with a little bit of adjustment it worked out fine. The older original spring is just a tad shorter than the replacement, but it works after a few adjustments! Thank you so much! Have a great day!

Sincerely,

Rosemarie K.

October 31, 2014

We would like to thank you for making it so easy to find and replace the broken spring on the Power IQ model # 734115 curling iron that we purchased.

The springs (#1001) fit perfectly and we ordered 2 springs as per your advice. They arrived at our door in a week. It was a snap to undo the two phillips screws and install the new spring.

Thanks a bunch.

Received the spring (#1009) today. Thanks for the fast shipping! The curling iron I installed the spring on was a Babyliss model BABP125S. Perfect fit!

October 31, 2014

I did receive the replacement spring (#1002) and got it installed with no problems (two minutes to install). I have an ION 1 1/4" / 32mm curling iron. Only other number I could find on the iron was 4105 which was stamped into the handle. It works great.

Thanks,

Karla T.

October 29, 2014

Spring (#1009) worked great for my BaByliss Pro curling iron. Model CTRO00S 14BA005155

Thanks

Barbara P.

October 28, 2014

Springs arrived today and are now installed. I used the 1009 spring on the Ultra Chi model GF6265

Installation is a snap, fit was perfect. The operation of the clamp portion is fine...not too stiff, not too soft.

Good stuff and a heckuva lot cheaper than replacing the iron!!!!

My compliments!

Kenny T.

October 28, 2014

The instructions prodvided on the website were perfect for understanding how to replace my spring (#1002). It was very simple and straightforward. I'm so glad I didn't have to buy another curling iron! Hot Tools #1181

Barbara N.

October 25, 2014

I have a Helen of Troy, model 1007. You already have it in your list as that was how I found this. I will certainly tell everyone I know as I have been looking for a good replacement for the last couple of year. (Spring # 1002)

Thank you

Carol E.

October 24, 2014

1. Conair Infinity (no model number that I could read). I just measured the spring (#1005) and guessed.

2. Easy to fix! Glad it was available…I love this curling iron and couldn’t find the same one in the store anymore.

Chandra K.

October 21, 2014

My curling iron is a Helen of Troy model #1005 1 1/4 inch

Spring (#1006) fit perfectly and was easy to install.

Thanks!!!

Joyce F.

October 19, 2014

Yes! The # 1002 spring works perfectly for Hot Tools model # 1110.

Thank you!

K.P.

October 19, 2014

The replacement spring (#1001) was easy to put in. The name of my furling iron is a Curlmaster - Model C21-I-5 E59901. I hope this helps on your restocking your spring parts.

Nancy H.

October 17, 2014

1003 works well for Remington CI-5213 1/2" barrel curling iron. My husband installed the spring for me & said it was easy. (I didn't hear him cussing, so I believe him!)

I just bought this curling iron and the spring was not broken, but weak. My short hair slipped out when I tried to clamp it. It works great now.

Thank You!

Linda P.

October 17, 2014

I’m just a dad trying to save his daughter some money! I put a #1006 spring, in a Helen of Troy, Gold series, 2” barrel, Model # 1004, and also put a #1006 spring, in a Tool Science, Model 646102, 1 ½” barrel. All you need is a Phillips head screw driver, and all of five minutes of your time. Both seem to be functioning smoothly. Spring failure is probably from metal fatigue, it’s the “nature of the beast”. Also ordered #1005 springs….will try them when the 1006’s give out.

Regards,

Dave D.

October 16, 2014

This spring (#1005) worked to fix 2 Conair models #CD302L and #CD150.

October 11, 2014

I have the Ion Titanium PRO curling iron 1 1/2 inch, model no. 301192. I ordered both the 1007 and 1009 spring. The 1007 has curved ends like the one that came with my iron, but the 1009 was the correct length. The length of both would have been fine, but the 1007 was too ***wide. The 1009 fit perfectly. Fast shipping and saved me from buying another curling iron.

Thank you!

Mairen L.

*** The #1007 should still work; it can be pushed together so it's not too wide. ***

October 9, 2014

I was looking for the model number on the iron before I ordered it but was unable to find it. The flappy part on top has imprinted “ION”. I know this is an older iron as my wife has not purchased one for a while and as you saw my last order was over a year ago.

I like the simple way you described on your website how to measure to be certain your ordering the correct part. Installation is rather easy, three (3) screws to remove and replace. And your ordering process is easy and quick. Thanks for a great consumer experience!

Spring # 1007

October 9, 2014

I have the Power IQ. Don't know the model number as it wore off but it is the only one that takes the 1" spring (#1001). Was simple to install. Took about two minutes. Glad I found your website. You're a life-saver. Thanks!

Lori G.

October 8, 2014

Hot tools HPK46. I purchased the 1002 spring. Although it works fine, the original spring has the tabs on it. 1006 would be the best spring for my model. I couldn't figure how to get the screw out of the retainer for the spring. I looked at your installation guide and it solved my problem. The replacement spring seems much stiffer than the original. Hopefully, it will also last longer. My original spring was not broken, it was just too weak to hold the hair.

Thank you,

Don P.

October 8, 2014

The spring (#1005) worked perfectly for my Conair Model CD81X.
Thanks to your website there will be fewer curling irons in the landfills! :-)
I'll tell my friends.

Pat S.

October 7, 2014

It worked!! I have a Conair 1.5 inch gold ceramic barrel curing iron. I don't know the model number. Spring #1005 is the spring I ordered. Fits perfect!!

Kendra B.

October 7, 2014

My curling iron is a Chi and original model information is worn off. It looks like model CA 1038, with a 1-1/2 inch barrel. Original spring was 3/4 inch, but the spring I ordered (#1005) worked well- once I installed it correctly.

Elizabeth W.

October 2, 2014

Hi Shaun, received the springs in today's mail. Spring works like a champ.

Brand - Sunbeam - Model SBPC12.

Thanks

Steve M.

October 2, 2014

Hi Shaun,

You are a genius. I hesitated before in messing about with anything on the tongs, because I assumed I would be able to obtain the correct size of spring (#1006).

However, since your very helpful e-mail, I have now modified the clamping bracket, with a junior hacksaw and pliers, to allow the spring to go completely through it and the curling tongs are fully operational again and I have 3 spare springs thanks to you.

My wife is out at the moment but I am sure she will be thrilled at the operational tongs when she comes in.

As you will appreciate, it is probably cheaper to just throw away the tongs and buy new ones. This throwaway culture is a curse of the modern age, which is so wasteful, damaging to the environment and the pocket. It goes against the upbringing of my generation to waste good equipment unnecessarily for the sake of a renewable part which should be readily available. It so satisfying to be able to be able to rescue a useful appliance so easily.

If you want a recommendation for your products and excellent prompt, efficient, personal, helpful, patient and obliging service, you can use my name with pleasure.

Thanks again and wishing you every success in the future.

I am yours sincerely,

Richard L.

October 1, 2014

Ion is the brand and model number is 301190. Installing was basically easy. (Spring # 1007)

Thanks,

Mike O.

September 26, 2014

The spring (#1005) works just fine! My curling iron is Conair CD 303T.

I'm glad someone is supplying the springs. Previously I had gotten replacements from Conair but apparently they no longer supply these to customers. I appreciate being able to use the 'green' approach to fix something rather than add to our world's waste problem.

Thanks

Nancy L.

September 26, 2014

I just installed my new springs with ease! I have been doing this for years. I own a Golden Hot 1 1/2 inch barrel. I cannot read the model number it is wore off. Sorry. But the #1002 springs fit it perfectly. I will recommend your site to others.

Thank you!

Gina L.

September 25, 2014

Your product was a life saver...My wife has a difficult time finding curling irons that she likes and was terribly upset when the spring in her Conair broke. The rest of the unit was in perfect shape and you would think we had just pulled it out of the original commercial packaging to see it now. The new spring is more sturdy than the original...it came with a metal roller, the original had a nylon roller. After testing the repair, my wife replied. "Its PERFECT!"

It took all of 5 minutes to install with a common Phillips screwdriver.

September 23, 2014

I just want to say, im so glad I found your site. I saved me from having to purchase a new curling iron. I have a Ion 1 1/2 inch. I attached a picture. The spring (#1006) maybe a little large but it works.

Thanks again

September 22, 2014

Thanks for sending the replacement spring (#1005) - I received it last week. This replacement spring is for my Conair CD87WCS curling iron. I ordered the spring to have as a back-up when it's needed. My curling iron is fairly new so I don't anticipate replacing the spring for quite awhile. I wanted to have a spring on hand so I don't have to wait for one to come when I really do need a replacement.

Thanks for your e-mail.

Elaine R.

September 19, 2014

I received my springs (#1002) today and must say they are better fabricated than the last ones I bought. They fit perfectly, slid right in and have more tension. Your service was prompt, thank you.

The spring was put into a Hot Tools model 1102.

Ken T.

September 19, 2014

My curling iron is a Jilbere de Paris model number JB125SG. The 1 inch (Spring #1005) fits perfectly!

Thank you!

Conair- Infiniti Pro. Spring (#1005) works good.

Stacy K.

September 11, 2014

This is a Conair Model CD102. Installing the spring (#1005) is simple and only requires a Phillips head screwdriver. Make sure the washers are installed between the curler barrel and the clip.

I have two Vidal Sassoon Model VS103 curlers. I did not have any issues installing (only installed in one at this point) – and so far everything is working like a champ! (Spring # 1004)

Curling iron Vidal Sassoon VS188 (1.5 in dia.), spring #1002

I am thrilled! I had little hope until I googled "curling iron springs", and found your website. Prompt shipment, easy installation, good as new.

You're the BEST!

August 28, 2014

Used spring (#1007) successfully on Hot tools model 1110. three screws to remove and replace with new spring.

Rebecca S.

August 27, 2014

Hello. I got the springs (#1005) yesterday and have already installed them. It was a very easy job. Well worth buying the new springs compared to buying a new curling iron.

The curling iron is a Conair model # CD106PRPC and a Conair type C241CMP.

Hope this helps you out.

Brian W.

August 25, 2014

Okay, it is a "Hot Tool" model number 1101 variable temperature 3/4" iron. (Spring # 1001) I am glad I found you on the internet; saved me some good cash.

Stuart V.

August 23, 2014

My curling iron is from Vidal Sassoon. I could not find a model number on 8th. I have had it for at least 15 years. The barrel is about a 1/2".

I did not have any problems getting the new spring (#1004) on. I had replaced the spring several years ago.

Shirly U.

August 22, 2014

I ordered two curling iron springs and you wanted me to send the model number and brand of curling iron that I repaired using your springs. So here they are:

1. Helen Of Troy Professional, Model 1008 — Spring # 1009 1-3/16"

2. Helen Of Troy Model S 510325 Hot Shot Tools — Spring # 1002 1"

The springs was the right size and fixed the two curling irons real good.

Connie G.

August 21, 2014

The spring works! I put the 1" spring (#1001) into my Paul Mitchell Express Ion Curl 1.0 Spring Curling Iron (C10NA) . I will let my hairdresser know of your site so she can share with the salon!

Christine E.

August 20, 2014

My curling iron is a Hot Tools, model #1181. The new spring (#1002) fit perfectly and it took my husband less than 5 minutes to install. Also arrived very quickly.

Thank you!

Lea D.

August 20, 2014

You already have a testimonial on your page from me (about 2 years back) and my model name/number (which I have pasted below). I have included a picture of my beat up old curling iron with duct tape on the handle (attached) so you can update the entry. The 1005 spring also fits the model as well.

Inisis - Probably IS-20XX Model# Worn Off 1½" Barrel Spring # 1001 1" by Amy B 4/27/2012

I ordered two springs back in early 2012, the first spring lasted about a year and a half (the 1001) and I am using the second one now, been on there for a little over a year (the 1005), but it’s starting to feel like it may be on it’s last legs so I thought I better get more on order before it gave up!

Thank you for making it possible to keep my ancient curling iron around for years to come Smile It is not looking pretty in it’s old age, but it still works wonderfully!

Regards,

Amy B.

August 20, 2014

Helen of Troy model 6002 curling iron.
Used spring # 1001.
Shaun responded quickly to my email requesting information on which spring to use. They shipped the spring immediately and we got it in a couple of days. It was easy to install -- the curling iron is as good as new!

August 16, 2014

My curling iron brand is Hot Tools and the model is 2102. The spring (#1002) I ordered fit perfectly and was easy to install. I am grateful that I could just replace the spring and not the entire tool.

Thank you,

Barbara S.

August 14, 2014

The broken spring is on a Vidal Sassoon 101 and was extremely easy to replace. (Spring # 1004)

August 14, 2014

I have a Chi CA1030 "CHI Air Texture Tourmaline Ceramic Curling Iron, Onyx Black, 1 Inch". I bought the 1007 replacement spring and it fit perfectly! I had taken all the screws out, so replacing the spring was kind of tricky. I had to cinch the spring with pliers in order to make it fit under the metal that holds in in place. The spring is pretty tight, but I wanted it that way. Once the spring was installed and secured, the others screws were easy to replace. I looked at several places to find a spring that would fit because I really like this curling iron and it costs $60 to replace! I ended up only paying about $7 to fix the whole thing, good as new! I'm so pleased!

Noelle J.

August 14, 2014

Spring 1002, size 1" works perfectly for Hot Tools model 1101. Easy to install. Your website is excellent. Thank you!

August 13, 2014

I ordered the 1 1/4 spring (#1007) for my Chi 1 1/2 inch curling iron. Works perfectly. My husband replaced it in about 2 minutes. Will recommend this site to anyone who needs parts.

Lynn M.

August 13, 2014

Thank you for the replacement spring (#1005) it works perfectly! I have a Jilbere de Paris Porcelain curling iron. The model number has rubbed off the label so I'm not able to provide it but I believe it has a 1 1/4 inch barrel. I'm happy I didn't have to replace a perfectly good curing iron just because of a broken spring. I will use your site again in the future.

Thanks,

Patty B .

August 12, 2014

Spring #1005 worked. Thanks again for your help!

I ordered on Aug 9. Springs arrived Aug 11. It is a perfect fit. My wife is very happy. I will tell everyone about your good service. Curling Iron is Hot tools 2 inch barrel model 1111 spring #1006. Thanks very much.

August 10, 2014

I replaced the springs in two of my daughter's curling irons. The curling iron is a John Paul Mitchell model C10NA, and I put 1-3/16" #1009 springs in both irons. A very easy installation, and I believe these springs will last longer as they are more heavy duty than the ones I removed.

Thanks!

Charles M.

Thank you for your interest. I can't find the model number but my curling iron is a Conair Infinity. My husband took it apart and held it up against the very helpful photos on your website to be sure that I ordered the correct spring (#1005) and we're sure. He then put the iron back together with the broken spring and it's still limping along and hopefully will continue to until the new spring arrives. I ordered 2 so I'm all set for next time!
Is my memory correct that years ago curling irons used to be sold with an additional spring?
Thanks for being there in my time of need!

Janet B.

August 3, 2014

My husband and I replaced the broken spring with the new one you sent. It works great! I have a Conair, Model CDBIX. It has a ¾” barrel. The only reason it took two of us was that the screws were so tiny I kept dropping them! This is probably due to the inexpensiveness of the curling iron! I purchased two replacement parts so the extra one will be ready the next time I need it.

Thank you for your service!

July 30, 2014

I ordered spring #1005 for my Conair model CD87S. It arrived quickly by mail, fit perfectly, and was easily installed. Thank you for providing such a great service that saves consumers money and helps the environment!

A few observations about Conair and Revlon; I have a curling iron for each brand. The instructions that came with my Conair curling iron do not mention replacement parts, nor does their website. Revlon includes a form for replacing the springs that you must fill out and mail, or you can call a toll free number to order by phone; their website (HelenofTroyUSA.com) is also in the instructions. If you go to Revlon.com, however, you can't find information to access that site (or at least I couldn't). The Helen of Troy website does not allow you to purchase the springs online; you must email them to inquire.

So, although Revlon does provide for consumers to replace the springs (which Conair does not), the springs are not available by online purchase, and it's difficult to find the information online. Maybe they are trying to hide the fact that the springs might break and need replacement? Whatever the reason, I appreciate your service, which saved me from throwing out my Conair curling iron.

Please feel free to use any or all of this reply on your website.

Thank you,

Marsha A.

My experience with your company has been a good one. Unfortunately I am not sure of my curling iron model because it's worn off, but after following your directions on how to measure my current spring, I had no issues and it fit my model perfectly. I will tell my friends and family about you guys and I will be ordering again.

I have an Ion 301190. Someone else on your page said they used the 1007 spring (1-1/4"), but when I measured mine, it was 1-1/8", so I ordered both. :) I installed the 1-3/16" (Spring #1009) just fine, but I think the other would also work so I'm keeping it for a spare.

Thanks so much!

July 14, 2014

All I can say is magnifique..... To be able to fix my curling irons so simply and cost efficient is so very welcomed. I contacted Conair and of course to no avail. My husband went to multiple hardware stores looking for the spring, nothing. So very smart of your company to provide such a wonderful service, ease of ordering and efficient delivery. We will be telling everyone we know who uses a curling iron. The two that i have at present are Conair Infiniti Pro- model # CD107TP, and the Conair Infiniti - model # CD107WT. both 1005 on your spring list. I threw away about 3 curling irons since I started using them as there was no help to be found in replacing the springs... thank you again , this is all grant.

July 13, 2014

Just wanted to say a big thank you for the springs - 1005 this spring I fitted to my Nicky Clarke model number NTS049 - very easy to fit. 1002 I fitted to my Boots own make 19mm tong and brushset. I purchased this set a some time ago 5 years or more so it is not the current model - again easy to fit and works well and I am so pleased because this is my favourite brush and tong set.

I have a Hot Tools model 1005, it is about 3 years old. I have installed springs before, so it is pretty easy. This spring (#1002) fit my curling iron and seemed to work fairly well this morning when I used it. The only thing I see is the spring part, the round part could have been a bit larger. Also, I ordered the stiffer spring because my hair slips out easily if I don’t have a tight hold on it. Hope this helps.

Cathy S.

July 9, 2014

Hi!

First! Fixed two Helen of Troy curling irons. Not sure the models?

Second! Very easy simple task.

Third! Already do pass on the information!

Hi, Just wanted to say thanks and the springs worked great. I have 3 Revlon irons that were 3 in a set. RV278A ; RV278B and RV278D and the 1005 spring works perfectly in them. Easy to change.

Thanks for sending the spring (#1007). I got it and it fits my Paul Mitchell C15GNA. I could have probably gone a size smaller too...as this one barely fit and it a bit stiffer than I'd like, but it did fit.
Hope that info helps!

Best,

July 6, 2014

Thank you for the fast shipping. I ordered from you last year also. Replacing the springs (#1002) sure beats having to buy a new curling iron!
I have the Hot Tools big gold curling iron, model #1110
Installing the spring is pretty easy. Of course, that's because my husband always does it for me!
I've had it for years & it just keeps going. Just have to replace the spring once or twice a year!
Thanks again! Will probably be back once these springs wear out!

June 30, 2014

The two springs (#1005) I ordered on Saturday, June 28 have already arrived on Monday, June 30th. Even better, they work perfectly. I cannot count how many curling irons I have had to discard over the years because I couldn’t find a place to get the springs fixed. With the help of the Internet, I happily found your company (after CONAIR was unable to help me over the phone using their 800 customer service number).

I watched the easy to follow video and was heartened that I could replace a spring myself. I found it just as easy to follow your suggestions for brand and measurement—thank you for that. And I was thrilled that I was smart enough to order two springs so that I now have a backup. My curling iron is a Conair Inifinit Pro: the model # is so tiny, but I think it reads CD109BN. It gets a lot of use….

I gave your company a chance and am not disappointed. The price, ease of ordering, easy-to-understand directions, and super-fast delivery would make any customer happy. Again, thank you.

Hello I received the springs (#1001) for my wife's curling Iron and replaced it. The curling Iron was a ISINIS and the spring fit easily. It works as good as new and was pretty straight forward to replace it. I would recommend these springs to anyone being bothered by their wife that no other curling Iron on earth will do except that one. Thank you for the prompt service.

I received the spring yesterday and replaced it today. Easily done with the reminder of a You Tube video about in what order and how the pieces fit on the iron. My iron is an old model with no number, that I can find on the unit. It says Vidal Sassoon on the side, and it has a one inch rod. I got the #1004 spring and it fits perfectly.
Thanks,

Replaced the spring (#1006) on a Helen of Troy Model 1004 2” barrel curling iron today. Works great and the roller on the spring is superior to that of the OEM part!

Thanks for the quick shipping and enjoy the rest of your weekend!

June 12, 2014

My curling irons are old and very inexpensive but I love them because they are light weight and small and easy to handle. I think they are "My Curl" and "Salon Magic". I can't be more specific because the names are all worn off. I found that the 1001 spring fit both of them fine. The 1006 was too heavy and the little parts on the curling irons wouldn't hold them. I plan to order more of the lighter models.

I hope this helps, but most likely no one has these old curling irons. I have a lot of them that I've kept in hopes of finding replacement springs. Thanks for your product.

Doreen B.

June 11, 2014

Received the springs (#1006) for the wife's curling iron. It is an exact fit for the factory spring. Wife's happy ... Which makes me happy !!!!

Springs ordered fits both curling irons the wife uses. "Hot Tools" model numbers 1110, & 1181. Same brand of iron just different barrel diameters.

Replacement took less than 5 minutes, only tool required was a medium Phillips head screwdriver.
Thanks again for a great transaction, super fast shipping as well.

Thanks ...

June 7, 2014

Hot Tools model 1101. The replacement springs (#1002) look just a little shorter than the originals but they appear to be fine. I put one in about 3 weeks ago, use it everyday & so far so good! Easy to install, same as others that I received when purchasing the Hot Tools curling iron.

Thanks.

I have an ION Curling Iron - professional one I bought it Sally Beauty Supply - I think it is a 1 1/4 round. Sorry - I no longer have the box, so I don't know the model number. The replacement spring (#1006) was a perfect fit.

Hope this helps,

May 24, 2014

The replacement spring (1 inch size #1006) worked great! I was so happy. Even though the exact shape and design wasn't the same as the one that broke, since I bought the correct length it did work. (I had ordered another one (#1007) that was the same shape but longer to try in case the first one didn't work, but I didn't use that one.) I was so happy to repair my iron instead of throwing it away. Great customer service and very quick shipping!

May 13, 2014

First I want to thank you for the prompt shipping. I received the spring yesterday and I was able to install it today.
My curling iron is a CHI GF 1558. The spring (#1002) fits. It is a little stiff but I think that is because it is new. I am going to apply some grease to the roller ball section of the curling iron so that the handle opens and closes more easily. Any recommendations as to what I should use for that?

Thanks again!

I wish to thank you for your superb service. I received my three ordered springs (#1001) today in the UK. This was very much appreciated. I have now fitted one of the springs to our Hair Tongs (Thermo Ceramics Model # EC2510), this took less than a few seconds. The Tongs are now as good as new. I have attached two photos of the tongs for your collection of brands. I will definitely be recommending your company to friends and family. Many thanks once again for your professional service.

May 10, 2014

I received the springs today (May 10) and have installed one on a Hot Tools Model 1101. I know you already had several confirmations that the No. 1002 spring is the right one for this curling iron, so I'm sorry I'm not giving you new information.

Your instructions are perfect, and I was able to complete the installation in 5 minutes, without difficulty. The new spring fit just like the original, but because it's stronger, the curling iron performs like new. I'm really pleased.

Thank you,

April 23, 2014

The curling iron was a CHI GF-1565 ........ The spring was number 1002 ........ It was extremely easy to uninstall the broken one and reinstall the new one There’s only the spring-loaded stand on the curling iron to remove and the hair clamp comes off, then there’s one screw that holds the spring down ........

Hi. Received my order today. I had the spring (#1005) installed in less than two minutes. Who knew it was that easy. I have a Conair instant heat curling iron. I'm not sure of the model number but the bar code reads 074108144232.

Thanks!!

April 14, 2014

My curling iron is a Conair, but I can't find the model number – has a gold barrel. The new spring (#1005) works, but there were two plastic washers that go between the clamp and the barrel (one on each side, where the clamp moves up and down) one broke because of brittleness. I imagine they are there just to help with squeaking. I couldn't find a replacement at the hardware store, so I just reinstalled the good washer on one side, and it seems to work just fine – no squeaking yet. So, if you could also offer those washers, maybe that would be helpful as well.

Thanks,

Sandra B.

The model 1001 springs arrived today and I was able to easily replace the broken spring on my wife's curling iron, a Power IQ, model 734119, with a 1 1/4" diameter barrel. Needless to say my wife is quite happy she can use her iron again. I can now replace the spring on another iron, same model.

Being able to repair curling irons allows anyone to save money and reduce waste. We're in Oregon and do what we can to save the planet...

Thank you for providing a great service...

I ordered #1001 for my CONAIR CD87. It fit perfect and installed easily. So glad you have these replacement parts available. I could have gone out and purchased a new one for close to the price of the replacements and shipping but it was worth keeping my "old" curling iron which is working just fine.

I ordered 2 so I now have a spare. And I will pass the word.

Thank you,

March 29, 2013

Your springs (#1006) worked great, the curling iron these springs were used for was a Hot Tools Professional Model 1110. The springs worked great and they appear to be made of a little bit better material than the springs that came with the iron. I appreciate your parts and will most likely be purchasing springs from you again in the future.

Thanks again,

March 29, 2013

The curling iron was a Hot Tools model 1181. Spring (#1002) was identical to orginal.

March 27, 2013

I received the new spring (#1007) for my curling iron today. The spring was extremely easy to install. I wasn’t aware that I could purchase a replacement spring until my husband suggested that I check on the internet. I thought that I would have to throw away my working curling iron just because of the spring and so I purchased a brand new $65 dollar curling iron. Now I can return the new curling iron and save myself $62 . My curling iron with the replacement spring is an Ion brand, 1 ½ inch barrel. The model number has worn off.

Thank you,

Genny M.

March 19, 2013

It took a pair of pliers to hold the strong spring (#1007) together so that the base bracket could be secured. Pretty easy installation. Ion 301194

March 18, 2013

Fast, fit and functions as it should. I had the curling iron replacement spring (#1007) in 2 days, installed in 60 seconds fitting perfectly. Spring rate is perfect, snaps shut and holds hair as it should and yet not difficult to operate. Price was very reasonable. It was a very easy fix. The web site was top on my google search, the pictures were a big help in selecting the right spring, ordering was a snap, and pay-pal option for payment made payment simple. I have an Ion Curling Iron, I do not know the model number.

Thank You,

Robert H.

March 18, 2013

The spring (#1001) fit well. It was a Chi Turbo Digital Ceramic Spring Curling Iron - 1.0 inch barrel, model number GF1606.

March 16, 2013

Received my springs, 1006 & 1007, thank-you. Curling iron is Hot Tools, Model 1110CN. Currently 1006 fits great, I will keep 1007 as a spare (pretty sure it will also fit). Curling iron is like new again, nice tight spring, great for thick hair.

Thanks again.

March 14, 2013

The spring I ordered (1007) worked perfectly on my Ion 1 1/4 inch curling iron. It is just like the one on the website currently, but I have a full clip on mine. It is very close to the one the Tim S listed on 9/13.
Thanks so much, you saved my favorite curling iron!

The springs I ordered for Helen of Troy Model 1003 item 1002 worked fine. I had a little problem installing the new one until I loosened (but didn't remove) the screw that holds the little box that the spring slides into. I used needle nose pliers and first tried to just slide the spring into the box and I couldn't get it in the right place plus it kept popping out and flying through the air. Loosening the tiny screw worked well and the curling iron is working great now.

Thanks.

I have a Helen of Troy 5/8" the model number is 510083/1009 that I purchased at Sally Beauty. The curling iron that I have is discontinued. Their new model has a spring that is attached with a screw. As far as installing it (Spring #1002), it was easy less than 5 minutes. I have already told a few people and they were surprised that you could buy a spring. They would of just thrown it away. Because I love this iron I have a spare one, and was afraid they would not carry it anymore. Good lesson here don't throw out your curling irons without removing small parts. Also very fast service was here in a couple days.

Thank you,

Carolyn R.

Per request…

1 – HOT TOOLS/Mod No. 1181 (Spring #1002)

2 – No experience one way or the other. Took it apart. Installed the new. Put it back together.

3 – No need to tell my friends and family or the girls working in our spa, they just bring theirs to me when the darned spring pops and tell me to fix it. Life is good.

Suggestion: for the uninitiated you might suggest they be prepared to rub off the scum ( with polish remover or a razor blade or the like) once they have their instrument taken apart. My people always appreciate the “like new” look and swear that the iron works better than before the spring broke. I don’t argue with them. I’m good!

We received our replacement part (Spring #1005) for the curling iron. It fit like a charm. My curling iron is a Paul Mitchell Pro Tools Express Ion curl 1.00
Model number C10NA

The replacement scenario was a bit tricky, but we persevered and it fell into place right away.

Thank you

Thank you for the quick shipping of the replacement springs. Arrived this weekend and replaced ASAP. My wife likes her curls. lol

The curling iron is Babyliss Pro Mod. BTM5125. I ordered a number of springs to try in the unit because she was looking for good clamping pressure.

The 1005 fit the easiest but it was not the pressure she was looking for. I used the 1008 as the final replacement. Installation is pretty basic and easy, little more pressure involved because of the spring length and pressure but easily done. I would suggest you offer nylon washer replacements as well. The old units are often brittle from use.

Thank you again for the quick shipping and service.

My curling iron is a one inch barrel Vidal Sasson. It is perhaps 10 -12 years old and I do not know the model number. The springs (#1004) I received worked perfectly.

Helen of Troy model #1007. These springs (#1002) are exact duplicates of the originals, and work just fine.

John S.

February 21, 2014

The model # is 763100, Heatmaster brand. I did get the springs (#1004) to work, thanks. In actuality, they were a bit larger than the original, but with some squeezing they worked. It is kinda hard to tell from your photos EXACTLY the dimensions of the springs, but they are quite helpful in ordering.

Thanks,

Ollie M.

February 8, 2014

The springs arrived yesterday, and were easily installed in the non-working curling irons. Models included:

Helen of Troy, 510084 - Spring 1002

Conair, CD81S - Spring 1005

Conair, CD81X - Spring 1005

All above springs looked like the originals, and worked great.

The following iron was still working, so springs were ordered as spares. The springs also look like exact matches to the original.

Power IQ, 734115 - Spring 1001

Again, thanks for the prompt shipping and excellent service,

Don S.

Not having to buy my wife a new curling iron right after the Christmas bills rolled in was a beautiful thing…Your spring #1002 fit precisely in the CHI #GF1558…Took about 3 minutes to install…Finally I want to say your website is one of the easiest to use that I have encountered…regards,

I am amazed at how fast I received the replacement springs. Ordered on Wednesday and received on Friday. My wife has the Ion Titanium-Platinum Model #301196 with the 1 1/2" barrel so I ordered spring #1007 per your chart. The spring on one broke a couple of years ago, but she kept it and bought a new one. The spring broke on this one as well. Replacements at Sally's Beauty supply are $45 each on sale. I ordered 3 springs and replaced both so she has two curling irons now. I t took less than 5 minutes per iron and were very easy to fix. Glad I found your site and I will let friends, as well as the sales staff at Sally's, know about your site.

Ken C.

February 6, 2014

The prompt shipping was very much appreciated. The manufacturer and spring info on your website was extremely helpful in making the selections. We'll be glad to provide the requested feedback, although you already have all four makes and models listed. The iron we ordered the single spring for is still o.k. But we know that it's just a matter of time. The other three irons are restoration projects.

Thanks,

Don S.

My curling iron is the Conair Instant Heat model # CD82S. The replacement springs #1005 were roller ball 1" size. Other than some difficulty sliding the ends into the grooves because of the spring's stiffness, it arrived quickly and was easy to install. It was great not having to throw a curling iron away.

Thanks.

January 5, 2014

I replaced the curling iron spring (#1006) and my wife says it works great! She uses a Hot Tools brand curling iron, model # 1111. I'm glad I came across your site, because I had no idea what needed to be done to repair my wife's curling iron. The website was very helpful using the description and images to identify the spring type I needed, as well as suggesting getting a second spring when the next one breaks. Installing the replacement was easy, only required a screwdriver and 5 minutes.

Follow the directions after ordering the spring for your model curling iron and it's really easy to install and your iron will be brand new again...My 2 spring (#1007) replacements were a little over $10.00...Two new curling irons would be over $100.00....I did it and you can too...Save some money and fix it yourself...
