Works as well as or better than the original (Spring #1006). However, the illustrious USPS finally delivered it after four (4), yes four reschedules in one week, and then delivered it at 7:30 pm, kind of like an afterthought. Way to go USPS! We are so proud.

So glad to have found the 1.25" springs (1007) with the curved prongs. The spring fit my ION SBS301192 curling iron. It was easy to change out and and I received the springs in 3 days.
